Welcome to Jaie Woodard's Homepage!

Research Interests

Jaie Woodard is a postdoctoral fellow studying the bioinformatics of genetic disease. Her research focuses in on missense mutations, which change the identity of a single amino acid within a protein. The goal of the project is to determine the biophysical and functional consequences of such mutations and to develop predictive tools to determine whether a given mutation is pathogenic. She co-developed the database ADDRESS: a structure-oriented database of genetic mutations and pathogenicity which includes contact information and stability change predictions from the Zhang lab program EvoEF.
