Modeling a protein with greater than 1,500aa

Post by jfreestone@mcw.edu »

Hello,

I was wondering if there are any resources that the Zhong Lab could point out that allow for prediction modeling of a protein with a length of 1,626aa. The previous graduate student in my lab discovered your resource but was unsuccessful in using it due to the length of our protein of interest.

Please let me know!

Thanks :D

You can do it using I-TASSER-MTD (https://zhanggroup.org/I-TASSER-MTD/), which was designed for modeling large-size proteins up to 3000 AA with multiple domains.
